Switcher will allow you to switch between System 6.0x and System 7. It can also be used to switch between other Systems as long as both are at least v. 6.0.5.
If you are using Switcher to switch between System 6.0x and System 7:
To avoid damage to your hard drive make sure that the Automatic Boot Block Update option is on. If it is not on, incompatibilities between the System 6.0x and System 7 boot blocks will give you problems. To check this setting , Option-click the SystemSwitcher logo (after rebooting). This will bring up a hidden dialog box. The Automatic Boot Block Update option should be checked.
